When someone dies there can be so many people who need to be informed. Even more so in these strange times when funerals are much smaller than they would normally be, or postponed for some time.
An 'In Memoriam' Card is a traditional way to announce a death and send out the relevant information that friends and acquaintances need to know. It may also be much easier for the family to send out the sad news this way than having to phone. The card itself becomes a momento and can offer comfort to those grieving.
