T was a challenge until I came across the Winter Thistle, which is now one of our favourite paintings with its spikey leaves and feathery centre. From these illustrations have grown cards and decorations in all shapes and sizes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe like that our cards send greetings in a non-denominational way which focus Christmas botanicals, and celebrate the natural world. These mid-sized square cards are particularly luscious. With a background circle in either red or green, the word Holly is spelt out in Holly leaves, and the word Ivy is spelt out in Ivy leaves. A few sprays and berries are wound around the circle's edge, and make an enchanting border. Hand painted gold berries finish of the cards with some seasonal sparkle.
